Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no cookies by default and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner.
What we use
| Technology | Used? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies set by us | Only if you choose | One functional cookie, rl_measure=off, stored for a year only if you switch partner click counting off on the privacy page |
| Analytics | No | A built-in adapter sends nothing unless an approved provider is added |
| Advertising or social pixels | No | No third-party scripts load on our pages |
| Local or session storage | No | Calculator and search inputs stay in memory only |
| Fonts and images | Self-hosted | Loaded from randleaf.co.za, not from a third party |
What your browser keeps
Your browser may keep a normal cache of our pages, styles and images so they load faster next time. That is managed by your browser, not by us, and contains nothing about you.
Partner and application sites
An Apply online button takes you to a partner’s website through the LeadGid affiliate network. Those sites set their own cookies, for example to remember where you came from or to keep you signed in while you apply. Their own privacy and cookie notices explain them. Any application service is a separate system with its own cookie notice.
If this changes
If we ever add an optional technology such as analytics, we will update this page and the privacy notice first, and give you a clear choice before it loads. Saying yes or no to optional cookies would never affect a loan application or RandLeaf Roots.
