PAIA manual

The Promotion of Access to Information Act gives you the right to request records held by private bodies, including us. Our manual explains what we hold and how to ask for it.

Access to information

What a PAIA manual is

Every private body covered by PAIA must have a manual that describes the records it holds, how to ask for them, the fees that may apply and who to contact. It also explains how the body processes personal information under POPIA.

Our manual

Not yet published

The approved PAIA manual for legal entity not yet published will be published on this page as an HTML page with a downloadable copy showing its version and date. We won’t publish a draft as if it were final.

How to request a record

  1. Complete the prescribed request form. The form and how to submit it to us are set out in our manual once published.
  2. Describe the record you want as clearly as you can, and how you would like to receive it.
  3. Send it to our information officer: not yet published, at privacy contact not yet published.

For your own personal information, such as what we hold about you, you can also simply ask under POPIA. Read our privacy notice.

If you need help

The Information Regulator publishes guidance on PAIA requests and handles complaints if a request is refused or ignored.
