When will my loan be paid out?

After you accept the agreement and approve DebiCheck, we send the payment on our next payment run. When it reflects depends on your bank.

Your loan

A calendar with repayment days marked by leaves

After you accept the agreement and approve the DebiCheck request, we send the payment on our next payment run. When the money shows in your account then depends on your bank. We don’t promise a set number of hours, because part of the time is outside our control.

Whose process this is

This page explains how these steps work for a RandLeaf loan. RandLeaf’s own applications aren’t open yet. If your loan came through our partner link, it is with the partner’s credit provider: ask that company about payouts, debit orders, settlement figures and paid-up letters, because only it holds your account.

Approved, sent and received are different steps

Approved
The assessment says we can lend and you receive a written quote. No money has moved yet.
Accepted
You accept the quote and agreement and approve the DebiCheck request in your banking app.
Sent
We release the payment to your verified account on a payment run. Payment run times are not yet published.
Received
Your bank credits your account. Between different banks, and outside business hours, this can take longer than between accounts at the same bank.

What can delay a payout

  • The agreement hasn’t been accepted yet, or the DebiCheck request is still waiting for approval
  • The payment was sent after a bank’s cut-off time for the day
  • Weekends and public holidays, when fewer payments are processed
  • The bank account details don’t match the verified account
  • An extra check is needed before the payment can be released
  • Planned maintenance or a temporary problem at a bank

If the money hasn’t arrived

  1. Check both approvals are done. You need to have accepted the agreement and approved the DebiCheck request. Look for a confirmation message from us.
  2. Look in your banking app. Some banks show incoming payments as pending first. Check the account you verified, not another one.
  3. Allow for the next business day. If it was sent late in the day, or before a weekend or public holiday, it can arrive on the next business day.
  4. Contact us with your ID number. We can confirm whether the payment has been sent, when, and to which account.

Nobody needs a fee to release your money

If someone asks you to pay a “release fee”, “insurance” or “admin fee” before a payout, it is a scam. RandLeaf never asks for money upfront. Report it.

How to avoid most delays

Most hold-ups happen before the payment is sent, so a few minutes of preparation help. Use the account your salary is paid into and type its number carefully. Keep your phone close after you accept the agreement, because the DebiCheck request comes from your bank and can expire if it isn’t approved. If you apply late on a Friday or just before a public holiday, expect the money to reflect on the next business day.

First loans and returning customers

The payout steps are the same for everyone. A returning customer still has a new assessment, a new quote and a new agreement, and may need a new DebiCheck mandate. If your bank account has changed since your last loan, it has to be verified again first.
